Terms of Service

Welcome to Hourly! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hourly time tracking application ("Service") provided by Furwise ("we", "our", or "us"). By using Hourly, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hourly, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Hourly is a time tracking application that allows you to:

• Track work hours and projects
• Generate time reports
• Manage client and project information
• Export data in various formats
• Sync data across devices

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of Hourly, you must create an account using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hourly. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Hourly Pro Subscription

4.1 Subscription Benefits

Hourly Pro subscription provides:

• Ad-free experience
• No interruptions or paywalls
• Priority support
• Future premium features

4.2 Payment and Billing

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period
• The renewal cost will be the same as the original subscription price unless we notify you of a price change

4.3 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription anytime through:

• iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Hourly
• Or through the App Store app

4.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed through the App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their refund policy. We cannot directly process refunds for App Store purchases.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use Hourly only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Furwise and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using Hourly (such as time entries, project names, and notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Hourly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Third-Party Services

Hourly integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase for authentication and data storage
• Google AdMob for advertising (free users only)
• Apple and Google sign-in services

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

9.2 Accuracy of Information

While Hourly helps you track time, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your time entries and any reports generated from them.

9.3 Professional Advice

Hourly is a time tracking tool and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Please consult appropriate professionals for such matters.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furwise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Furwise from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of Hourly after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using Hourly at any time and can request account deletion by contacting us.

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your data according to our data retention policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Furwise operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Hourly shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Furwise regarding the use of Hourly.
